A 530 m² house renovation in Piroozi, Tehran, bringing contemporary office spaces into a family home while preserving rooms that carry its memories.
Memory and change
Designed in 2019, the renovation reconsiders a 530 m² old house in Piroozi, Tehran, as a place for both work and domestic life. Part of the house becomes a multipurpose office, while the bedroom and living room are preserved and reorganized as spaces of family memory.
New materials sit alongside retained elements in a restrained, minimalist interior. The approach carries the familiarity of the original home into its new use, allowing nostalgia and contemporary working life to coexist.
